sacrifice and lineage

For I tell you the great teaching.  There is no acceleration or advancement on any path, worldly or spiritual, without sacrifice.  If the sacrifice is not forthcoming, then the alchemy does not work.  Therefore all of you who are successful in every level of life know what is the hardship and sacrifice of giving birth to your dream, to your visualization, to that thing which you recognize as your calling.
