Yes, this 2 year cycle was complex as I experienced it, having also come from the Springs to Santa Barbara in that period.
The Messenger also brought up the motif of the Little Red Hen who determined to bake the bread herself, getting very little support in the task. Now I see that the light activity itself either holds the thread of contact well enough or does not in a cycle. So the Master may well measure that. The staff/initiates had been partly holding things in the Springs and partly at Santa Barbara in that cycle. -r.
